I wanted to share with you all some great, stylish outfit ideas on what to wear when attending to a concert along with some tips and tricks!

When we think about concert-going, generally, most of us opt for a simple graphic tee, blue jeans and sneakers. However, I am here to show you how to look fabulous whilst supporting your favorite singer or band.

Read on below!

Outfit Ideas

Oufit #1

If your style is more edgy and rocky-chic, this outfit idea is just for you. You want to pair any USA or national themed graphic tee that you may have, a pair of light-wash blue high-waist or regular jeans, a black fedora hat and there you have it! For accessories, go for gold or silver droopy earrings and big, bold silver and gold bracelets to match. Pair this look with black, wedged booties. This look is great for concert-going as it is not only sports an edgy and cool vibe, you will be making a fashion statement whilst being comfortable all at once!

For makeup & nails: Opt for a bold, lipstick stained lip and earth-toned eyeshadow for a grungy appeal. For nails, opt for a bright and vivid colored nail polish that will stick out from your ensemble.

Outfit #2:

If your style is more relaxed and earthy, but yet trendy, this outfit idea is just for you. You want to pair a neon-colored T-shirt along with a bold-printed, high-low maxi-skirt and floral, ballet flats.  For accessories, look for long, silver chained earrings and multiple gold or silver bracelets. This look is great for any nonchalant concert-going that you plan to do as you will be swanky and elegant enough to stand out amongst the crowd.

For makeup & nails: Opt for a bold, lipstick stained lip and a nude eyeshadow will create a great contrast. For nails, opt for a bright and vivid colored nail polish that will stick out from your ensemble.

Pssst!: This look is great for attending a concert during the warmer seasons.

Outfit Idea #3: (This is what I wore!)

If your style is very retro and classy, this look is just right for you. You will want to pair a blue cut-off sleeved, sheer blouse, a pair of classic white skinny jeans and gold and silver hoop earrings and bracelets to match. For shoes, pair this outfit with (my all-time fav) black, suede wedged booties. Pssst!: Look for a studded pair for a little edgy glam!

For makeup & nails: Opt for a bold, lipsticked stained lip and a shimmery-colored eyeshadow for an all out glam look: For nails, match your earrings and bracelets with a silver crackle nail polish.

Hope you found some outfit inspiration for your next concert event.

Winter Essentials: The Military Coat

Some of us are finding it hard to stay elegant and stylish during the Winter and with the weather starting to become more and more frisky and unpredictable, we all need a coat to shield us from these harsh conditions. But not just any coat.

A military coat has been making its way as a major fashion staple this Fall/Winter season and it is something that every girl should own as it is not only comfortable, but very trendy as well, so it looks great with a variety of things.

The earthy tones of the military jacket make for a very edgy, yet cool addition to your ensemble allowing you to pull off that effortless grunge appeal.

Look below for some ways to rock your military jacket this season along with some cool pieces to match!

Outfit Idea #1

This classic military coat ensemble is typical rocker-chic. Rock your coat with light-wash blue jeans and black, studded biker boots or black, studded wedges and your good to go! For accessories add a charming, charm bracelet for extra razzle-dazzle!

Outfit Idea #2

For this ensemble we are cheating the myth -that yellow is only for Spring and Summer- by piecing it together with this ensemble to create fashion bliss! Pair your military coat with a yellow (or mustard yellow, if you prefer) jean and grey wedges. All you need for accessories to make this outfit totally killer is a graphic scarf to add extra edge. There you have it, an edgy, while all at the same time, fun ensemble!

Outfit Idea #3

I am pretty much obsessed with this ensemble! The contrast between the earthy-hued coat and the intricately-patterned graphic leggings make for fashion perfection! Pair your military coat with a graphic legging and allow a couple gold and silver bracelets to serve as accessories and pick a tan or grey boot (wedged or heeled) and you are good to go! This outfit makes me want to go out and do some nonchalant street-cruisin' on the streets of Paris or Soho. That is how worldly it is. With this ensemble, you are bound to make a fashion statement.

Fashion Tip: Shopping for the perfect military coat? The best ones are usually found in vintage thrift stores. So look there, as you are sure to find one that is stylish yet cheap all at the same time! Win-Win situation, right?

So will you be rocking this trend? Your response should be, (in true military fashion) "Sir, yes, sir!"

Let me know what you think of this trend in the comments below!

DIY Fashion Craft: Studded Shoe

The studded shoe has become a huge trend these past seasons. It can be seen being rocked from the runways of fashion week to the plain citizens roaming the street. Either way, we all wish we could re-create this trend ourselves right? Well, now you can with this super easy tutorial! You can use this technique to stud ballet flats, sneakers, loafers, and your high heels. If you are looking for a great way to edge up your pair of shoes then this is just for you!

Studded shoes on the runway!

What you'll need:

A black Sharpie (Any marker that is the same color as your shoe)
Studs (gold, silver, anything!)
Glass & bead glue
Tweezers

Step 1: Take your marker, and mark dots all along your shoe (front, back or wherever you want the studs to go)

Step 2: Take your glass and bead glue and apply a pea-sized amount where you have marked your dots on your shoe.

Step 3: Take your tweezers and apply your studs onto the glue area. Repeat this until you have covered your pattern on your shoe

Step 4: Once you are done with Step 3, you will leave your shoes to dry overnight.

There you have it! Now you have a great new, stylish trend to go out and rock that you can call your own!
