Paris Café: Au Bout en Train

Brasserie's are at the very pinnacle of French culture and all things Parisian. Locals often seek out these nestled café's as the point of re-grouping and relaxing. The many hours spent frolicking in this magnificent city comes to a halt when you take a moment out to sit down at one of the many authentic brasseries that the city has to offer, to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a delicious hot plate of the "plat du jour" (meal of the day") which usually comes with a side of scrumptious French fries.

When in Paris, be sure to stop by the "Au Bout en Train" brasserie. Just steps away from the famous "Gare Du Nord" train station, the brasserie offers a selection of mid day meal varieties as well as the option of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is recommended, though, as you can sip on your café facing the street. Perfect for French people watching.

Look of the Day: French Countryside

Condé-sur-Huisne.

I took some time out from the glamour of Parisian life to settle for a few days in provence (french countryside) in the small and quaint town of Condé-sur-Huisne. This town, nestled in a corner not too far from Normandie, claims fields of lush greenery, calming creeks and cozy cottage homes. Perfect for a weekend getaway, weather conditions always prove to be pleasant in this region. Take your next escape to this region and spend your days enjoying authentic French countryside foods, frolicking amongst fields of nature, interacting with farm animals or strolling the quiet town's brick roads.

Today's look draws inspiration from the calm and serene nature of Condé-sur-Huisne in a complacent knit sweater, lace shorts and chunky boots (perfect for those trips to the barn).

Vintage Shopping In Paris: FREE'P'STAR

Located in the heart of Paris in the 4eme arrondissement, Les Marais is home to an eclectic range of Paris' best in fashions, art and food. Shopping, though, is the reigning claim-to-fame that the famous district is beloved for. With a slew of stores from high end, luxury boutiques to fashion steals in the town's many vintage stores, there is something for every daring or conservative fashionista here!

FREE'P'STAR is one of Les Marais' most well-liked vintage clothing stores with a reputation for landing on fashion gold mines, such as leather biker jackets or vintage Moschino jeans for 10 Euros! Located in Les Marais' famous shopping street of Rue du Rivoli, the store, which boasts an "80's grunge era" theme, sells a wide range of vintage clothes and accessories for women and men. Perusing this vintage store is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Les Marais and you are sure to come out with brag-worthy fashion finds! P.S: The store has an equally amazing downstairs, so be sure to check that out too!

Paris Street Style: Grand Palais Paris

At A Standstill In Motion.

Spending the week in the city of  love n' light. Parisian life's romanticism and style make for the perfect set of street style shots and settings. The Grand Palais of Paris serves as the city's pinnacle for art and exhibition with classic gold-tainted statues and artifacts. It screams opulence and was the setting for my street style shot of "At A Standstill In Motion".
