Designer Monique Lhuillier debuted her Spring/Summer collection at New York Fashion Week on September 12th.
The brand, which focuses on bridal wear, showcased a collection with "spring fresh" designs. Fuchsias, evergreens and sea blues made their way into many of the elegant frocks which took form in an array of embellishments, crochet and chiffon fabrics. The "Alice In Wonderland"-themed collection payed attention to lace appliqués and embellished crystals in many of the backs of each dress and gem-colored strappy sandal heels. The standout pieces, however, had to be the final fuchsia, chiffon dress and an equally fuchsia, embellished half dress with sea blue chiffon detailing at the bottom.
