#PutTheNailInIt.
Safe Horizon is "The largest victims’ services agency in the United States, touching the lives of more than 250,000 children, adults, and families affected by crime and abuse throughout New York City each year. (The organization) offers assistance to victims through 57 program locations, including shelter, in-person counseling, legal services, and more."
The Never Forever and Safe Horizon charity gala was held at New York City's exclusive Terrace Club in Midtown Manhattan with over 50 attendees. The event drew a number of influential social advocates among New York City's elite crowd that included current Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev (a New York native and domestic abuse survivor), recording artist Kelly Levesque (who world-premiered her music video to "Never Forever", detailing her domestic abuse story), NFL KC Chiefs Hall of Famer, Nick Lowery as well as a nail bar provided by The Painted Nail, who promoted the #PutTheNailInIt campaign, which encourages people to paint a finger purple in order to show their support for domestic abuse efforts.
