The sun has finally shed its luminous light over the city of New York, i.e; Brighter, looser clothing, outdoor excursions and weekend brunches with friends. (what more could you ask for?)
This Saturday, April 18th, fashionistas, music lovers and foodies alike all over New York were called out to the Corner Social restaurant in Harlem in order to celebrate the inauguration of the spring season at the "No Basics Brunch". Because, of course, the location of the restaurant is situated amidst the epicenter of Harlem's cultural hub (125th street), it was no surprise to see all of the dapper darlings (and gents!) who showed up in their best spring frocks.
The lively social event was hosted by Claire Sulmers (
editor-in-chic of
fashionbombdaily.com), Damon Peruzzi- a.k.a "Legendary Damon" (event host) and Ty Hunter (personal stylist to Beyoncé). The event also featured special guest hosts such as Kehinde Wiley (painter), and Laquan Smith (fashion designer) with music indulgence by DJ Olivia Dope.
