All White Bohemian: OOTD

Dakar is filled with amazing, original spaces to shoot. I was inspired by this beautiful mustard yellow wall outside of a vendor store on the outskirts of the city.

My style inspiration today is my older sister. Her style is artistic and elegant and is the perfect mutual combination of feminine class and bohemian edge.

Glowing weather and cool winds called for a chic all-white look with an added edge. She paired an elegant, white, tank maxi dress with an accent brown belt and wedges. A lace headband wrap and a black, leather tote to add some ruggedness to finish off the look.

Check out her outfit below for fashion inspiration!

Black Leather Tote: Primark

Brown Wedges: Primark

Pair your comfortable pastel-colored dress with an oversize brown, braided belt found in a dainty thrift shop for edge and style. Pastel feather earrings add a light bohemian touch to your outfit in just the right way.

I ♥ This Magazine! (This Month's Magazine Choice): GLAMOUR UK Magazine

Every month I'll post different This Month's Magazine Choice' choices.

Here's whats in store in GLAMOUR UK Magazine this month. And why you should go pick up your own copy now!

Gracing the cover of GLAMOUR Magazine this month is country-pop princess, Taylor Swift. Check her out below!

On the cover, Taylor is looking winter-tastic in a Michael Kors Striped Cashmere Sweater and an Emilio Pucci Hat.

Here’s what the 23-year-old actress had to share with the mag:
On her highly publicized, and critiqued relationship with One Direction member Harry Styles and keeping positive:
'I never read one hateful thing said about me by some 12 year old. So I got to live an actual life. And I’ve kept that mentality. Just because there’s a hurricane going on around you doesn’t mean you have to open the window and look at it.”
'You can be obsessed with the bad things people say and the good things, either way you’re obsessed with yourself and I’m not – you can become unhinged so easily. Vanity can apply to both insecurity and egotism. So I distance myself, because I feel everything.
'The little I am exposed to hurts my feelings. The only things I can really control are my songs and my behaviour. The rest? If I focused on it, that would lead to insanity.'

On her take on Miley Cyrus's controversial image:
'There’s room for role models who make mistakes. There’s clearly room for role models who are made fun of at award shows, not that I necessarily enjoy being poked fun at! But that’s gonna happen to them too. Whether in a board meeting or in school or on Facebook, where they’ll get humiliated publicly.

Check out some more pics of Taylor that also feature in the mag below!

Top 5 Back-To-School Beauty Essentials

Now that school is in full motion, finding time running from class to class and looking fabulous seems to be limited, so I have put together a list of the top 5 beauty essentials to store in your locker or school bag for an on-the-go quick beauty fix!

Keep reading to find out what items you need to ensure that you look flawless from the first bell to the last!

#5: Texturizing Mist

Does your hair loose its bounce and become flat halfway through the day? Solution? Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Spray is just the thing you need. The sea salts restore the natural wave and texture to your precious locks. Simply flip your head over, spritz graciously from the nape of your neck to your tips, flip your head back over and voila! beach babe hair in a matter of seconds. Its that simple: flip, spritz and scoot off to your next class.

#4: Lip Shine
Lip balm is great for the protection of your lips but if you want to take it a step further and really make your lips pop, opt for this amazing lip shine by e.l.f. The Super Glossy Lip Shine by e.l.f is a triple threat because it,
1- Adds the perfect girly, kissable touch of color and shine that your lips crave
2- Has an SPF of 15, so you won't have to worry about sun-damaged lips
3- Smells so amazingly yummy you will probably be tempted to taste it
Tuck this little baby in the side pockets of your school bag for an added dazzle to your lips!

#3: Rollerball Perfume

Forget stashing your chunky bottle of perfume in your bag for whenever you need that added lovely scent. Introducing the new and improved version, roller ball perfume! This product is so splendid and dandy because it allows you to take your favorite scent with you in a small package for whenever you want to refresh that enchanting smell of yours. Roll on your perfume on the insides of your wrists, neck and collarbones for an instantaneous splash of fragrance. Everyone will be asking,
"Mmm, who smells so good?"
Pssst! Tip: If you cannot find your favorite perfume's roller ball version in department stores, head directly to beauty and makeup specialized stores such as Sephora, where they are bound to carry it.

#2: Oil Blotting Sheets

As your day progresses on, what with walking around and sweating, it is sometimes natural for your skin to begin to build up oily residue along your T-zone (chin, nose, forehead) even when you've already put your makeup on. Get rid of that pesky mid-day glow with these dandy Oil Absorbing Sheets from Clean&Clear. These sheets are total lifesavers and what's even better about them is that they leave a nice, matte finish to your face and it keeps your makeup in place, so you won't have to worry about touching it up again. To get that pristine clean look, gently dab a sheet or two over your problem area and restore your face to its former glory!

#1: Rose Water Facial Spray
Rose Water is starting to become all the talk of the town due to its ah-mazing soothing and refreshing qualities. This rose water facial spray by Mario Badescu is just what you need for an instant wake-me-up glow to your face. Hold the bottle a few inches away from your face and spritz for an awakened complexion and lovely scent. This product is gentle enough not to be too harsh and damaging, so it's perfect for even the most sensitive of skins. If you are feeling sluggish during the day and you are in need of some power stuff, this product is just what you need to rejuvenate your face.

Let me know what you think of my Top 5 Back-To-School beauty essentials and share what are some of yours!

Tasty Tuesdays: NYC Delights

New York City is a melting pot of diverse cultures and customs so it is only natural for the food to match that same eclectic array.

I will decrypt to you all some of the cutest and most yummy little corner spots that I have discovered in the far corners of New York.

                                            Zizi Limona

This unique meditarranean/middle eastern oriented cuisine has you wishing that you could spend a day in Eastern Europe! Zizi Limona's specialty includes pita bread and hummus. If you are in the Williamsburgh neighborhood and you are looking to introduce a different taste to your taste buds, this is the place!

Baked by Melissa

These super cute, and super tiny treats, are native to New York are the quick fix cupcake craving that we all desire. The mini cupcakes come in an assortment of flavors from red velvet to cookie dough.  These unique treats can be found in 3 special locations: SoHo, Midtown East & Upper West Side.
Who knew something so little could taste so good?

Papaya King

No, this place does not specialize in papaya's, but they do specialize in Franks! I discover this hidden gem in St Marks Place. They are said to have the best frank in the world- yes, the entire world. Their frank was so good, I went back for seconds (which is rare). If you ever decide to float by this edgy-chic part of town, be sure to stop by the colorfully, delicious spot!
