Angela Simmons Angela IAM E-Commerce Site Luanch Party

Angela Simmons is a fashion designer, businesswoman, tv host, reality star, socialite and all-round fashionista. Now she is adding 'website founder' to that list too. The 25-year-old has ventured onto an array of accomplishments which she is proud to call her own. One of her most successful ventures includes being the co-founder of the highly successful, well-known female sneaker line, Pastry, which she ran and managed alongside her older sister Vanessa Simmons. Now Ms Simmons is stepping out into the spotlight on her own with the launch of her new lifestyle website Angela IAM. Here she provides her take on topics such as fashion, beauty and music. Angela is a girl on the move who is slowly but surely becoming a household name in her own right. Between being a co-host on BET's popular music countdown show, 106&Park and running her new website, she is not going anywhere soon.

I was fortunate enough to attend Ms Simmons' eCommerce launch party at Henri Bendel's in New York City. The event was a success and hosted a star studded guest list with appearances from R&B singer Melanie Fiona, MTV's Amanda Seales, Rappers Stalley and Driicy Graham and many more.

Ms Simmons rocked out in a silky printed top, a white 50's style skirt and Giuseppe Zanotti cut out boots.

Could she have looked anymore dashing?

3rd Annual Intern Queen Party In NYC

I was fortunate enough to attend the annual Intern Queen Party hosted by Intern Queen, Lauren Berger which took place at the Ann Taylor Flagship Store in the city on 30/07/2013.

The event has been held every year, since 2011, in an effort to provide the opportunity to interns, or intern hopefuls to gain more resources in order to become successful in their intern ventures.

Her website, www.internqueen.com serves as a platform for students to access and apply to internships provided with added advice and content on how to be successful in high school, college and post-grad experiences.

The event drew a large crowd of driven and passionate individuals who intern for a vast array of companies from TEEN VOGUE to CBS.

A panel of representatives from COSMOPOLITAN Magazine, US Weekly, Johnson & Johnson, Elizabeth Arden and many more were present to speak to the crowd on how to make your internship as successful as possible, to give advice on landing the internship of your dreams and advice on the importance of being passionate about whatever it is that you do.

The night was without a doubt a success. Be sure to stop by next year for a night that you will never forget!

Special thanks to host, Lauren Berger and Ann Taylor.

OOTD: Williamsburg Vibin'

Williamsburg, Brookyln is the uniquely situated area of Brooklyn that feautures some of the borrows most elite creative natives or 'hipsters' as we all call them. What with vintage shopping and tasty storefront resto stops to take a knack at, there is always an exquisite attraction for the creative mind.

The sun was out and the cool vibes were flowing all through Williamsburg. Today my OOTD is 'Sunny Side Up Chic'. I chose an orange, gold and beige color palette as these colors complement each other so well and reflect so well amongst the vibrant, summer hues. Take a gorgeous mural of a Spanish flamenco dancer, a hint of sunny specks and a smile and you have the perfect, effortless look.

Outfit:
Gold Hair Flower: NastyGal
Gold Coin Earrings: Vintage
Beige Racer back Tank: FOREVER 21
Burnt Orange Khakis: H&M
Grey Flower Ballerinas: ZARA
Beige Handbag: Trafaluc.

Let me know what you think of my comfy ensemble and stay tuned for more OOTD's!

How To Look Stylish When Traveling: OOTD, Tips & Tricks and More!

I am going to the Big Apple!

That's right, from one fashion capital to the next, this fashionista is about to take on the city that never sleeps- New York!

Traveling for extended periods of time and looking stylish and elegant all at once seems to be a difficult and sometimes impossible task for many, but I am here to deliver the tips, tricks and secrets to traveling in style. From a 1 hour flight to a 12 hour flight, I've got just what you need to flying and arriving gorgeous. Seems UN-doable? Well, just keep on reading then!

Stylish flying attire requires you to look good all while still being in comfort. For my OOTD, today I have decided to pair my ensemble with some cool, yet useful accessories. Check it out below!

Outfit
Tribal Racer back Shirt: Primark
Black Jeans:H&M
Sunglasses: H&M
Neon Yellow Earrings: Vintage
Leopard-Print Loafers: H&M
Neon Yellow Clutch: Trafaluc.

Now that summer has hit in full force, traveling in the heat is quite the tedious task so for my top, I kept it light and designed with a tribal print racer back tank paired with slim fitting jean pants and a black braided belt with a gold clutch. I wanted to spice it up with my accessories so I opted for leopard print loafers (comfortable and stylish), matching neon yellow clutch and earrings and beige, floral print sunglasses.

Tips & Tricks: The trick here is to keep what you carry light. Like the clutch for example, instead of opting for a large, bothersome bag, keep your essentials such as your passport, boarding pass and other small items in this convenient clutch!

I will be in New York for 2 weeks so stay tuned for a lot of blog posts on an incredibly large array of subjects. I will be taking you all from the high class designer stores on 5th Ave (which is where I am staying by the way) to the quirky vintage stores of Brooklyn. You surely do not want to miss a second, so stay tuned!

Let me know what you think of my outfit and what you wear when you travel!
