New York Street Style: Printed Pants

Check out this Uptown fashionista spotted rocking this "cool girl" street look.

"My favorite part of this outfit are my pants because I got them custom made by an African designer, my cat eye sunglasses; I love the cool quirky 50's vibe it has, and of course my signature big hair!"

"I Like It Like This": Sothebys X Drake

The "I Like It Like This", presented by S|2 in collaboration with Drake, held a celebration opening of influential Contemporary black American artists on May 7th. Grammy winning artist Drake  provided musical curation by selecting songs to accompany highlighted works in the selling exhibition at the art gallery at Sothebys in New York City, which is now open to the public until June 12th. When you stop by the York Avenue galleries, you can listen to Drake’s song selections at Beats by Dre™ sound stations & experience the dialogue surrounding the overlap of these identities and the ways in which they bolster, challenge and inspire one another.

The event drew a mass crowd of artists, musicians, art-lovers and creative minds alike. DJ'd by NYC DJ Va$htie, the ambiance for the event was set for an eventful time. Among the attendees to this exclusive event included rapper Drake, music producer Swizz Beatz and ex-NFL player and TV hose, Michael Strahan. Check out some of the unique art pieces and other photos from the event below.

Snapshot: Rihanna Performs At The 2015 MET Gala

Rihanna stole the night of the MET Gala; from her exquisite designer cape, to her show stopping performance in front of a crowd of all of the gala's esteemed attendees, there seems to be nothing that she can't do.

Rihanna, who performed a number of her worldwide hits such as "Diamonds", "Stay", "Pour It Up" and the newest "BBHMM" (which had everyone on their feet), was accompanied by a professional choir symphony consisting of violin and percussion players.

Check out this exclusive snapshot of the starlet performing below.

Best Dressed At The 2015 MET Gala: Rihanna

Rihanna arrived to the MET Gala red carpet and completely shut it down. No seriously, the entire red carpet had to be cleared upon her arrival. The pop songstress arrived to last night's gala wearing an imperial custom yellow, fur-trimmed cape designed by Chinese fashion designer, Guo Pei. Rihanna gains the gold of the title of "Best-Dressed" as she perfectly embodied this year's MET Gala theme: China: Through The Looking Glass, and what better way to honor China, then donning a Chinese designer's authentic elegant frock?

From having personally been on the red carpet to witness this magic, one can be assured that Rihanna's gown was nothing short of spectacular and breathtaking- as well as having to need 4 different people to manage its train.

What did you think of Rihanna's look?

The MET Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala, is held every year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and raises funds and awareness of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

The event is headed by Editor-In-Chief of VOGUE Magazine, Anna Wintour and the entire VOGUE committee. Naturally, the event attracts a large crowd of Hollywood's elite; from actors to singers to models, as it is described as the "Oscars of Fashion". Respectfully to say, fashion's biggest night out saw an array of elaborate and elegant attire, as all were reminded to "dress to impress"- and impress they did.

But no one impressed more than the most highly anticipated couple of the evening, BeyoncĂ© (styled by June Ambrose and Ty Hunter in a dazzling Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci) and partner-in-crime and equally as dashing husband, Jay Z. It's only right that we name them "Best Dressed Couple" no?

Chocolate Cashmere Closet was, of course, on the scene at the MET Gala to bring you a sneak peek of the pair after having enjoyed a moving performance by Rihanna. Check the pair out below.
