Hottest Hair Trends: Color It Up!

We have all gone through a phase where we have picked up a strand of our hair to analyze it and thought that it is missing a little extra something.

If you have always looked up to some of your favorite celebs new hair do's and thought, "That would look great on me!" Then you have come to the right place!

Hair color trends are becoming an international sensation. Making its way from the fashionistas on the street to those on the runway!

If you are tired of your usual mono-toned hair look, switch it up with some of this season's hottest hair color trends and find out which one is just right for you.

We all need a little color in our lives..

Hair Color Trend #1: Ombré
This trend is probably the most common. It is flirty, fun and The Ombré color provides many benefits. It brightens up your face (and smile!) by directing light towards the center of your face and it gives your hair that perfect sun-kissed look minus the beach trip to California!

Hair Color Trend #2: Dip-Dyed
This look is absolutely radical! If you dig the color but don't want to go all the way, go dip-dyed. Your hair is practically sticking its feet in the color pool and testing the waters. Because this style comes in an array of colors, there are no restrictions for choice. If you have a lighter skin complexion, opt for colors in the red and blue spectrum as the vivid pop of color contrasts beautifully against your fair skin tone. If you have a darker skin complexion, opt for colors in the purple color spectrum (especially if you have dark hair) as this adds a warm color vibe to your hair which highlights your facial features superbly!

Hair Color Trend #3: Bold Streaks
This hair style has started to become a popular trend when pop singer Avril Lavigne introduced it during the early 2000's. This trend is perfect if you wish to have your pop of color in just one specific section of your hair. Colors such as orange, blue and magenta look great as bold streak colors. If you're not ready to fully commit, opt for clip-in extensions or a wash out color.

Hair Color Trend #3: Standard Bold
Go Bold! If you're feeling brave and ready to go all out, opt for a standard bold color. The benefits of choosing a standard bold color is that your color will always complement your face and complexion. If you have a fairer complexion, opt for a dark or icy purple or red. If you have a darker complexion, opt for a dark red or burnt orange. These colors look fabulous if colored in the right tint. Make sure that you pick out your exact color beforehand and run a test along a strand of hair to make sure that you will be satisfied with the results.

This spring haute couture collection is filled with pieces that just about any girl would love to play dress-up in!

Check out this artistically radical collection below!

Dress #3: 'Palm Beach' Print Peplum Dress from Nordstom

With peplum being a major girly trend this season, countless dress stores are incorporating this stylish cut into their spring dresses. A peplum dress is great for spring because it has no sleeves, it creates comfort and freedom to move as you please! Pair your peplum dress with a simple white or nude-colored strapped heel.

Dress #4: Stop staring! for The Cool People Watercolor Dress from Zappos

This watercolor dress screams va-va voom! Its sassy, cute and flirty and absolutely perfect for an after event afternoon get together. A water color dress is a classic throwback to classy style. Pair your light colored, water colored dress with nude pump heels or white gladiator sandals.

Dress #5:Tie-Dye Print Shift Dress from Lulu's

A tie-dye shirt brings back that classic, laid-back, 60's style that is fun and hip. Sport any tie-dye dress (or create your very own-its super easy) with gold gladiator sandals and matching accessories for extra glam! Add statements sunglasses as an extra prop to your ensemble and you are ready for a rockin Spring, indie concert- per say. This kind of dress is cool and funky so the importance here is to have fun with mixing and matching your outfit!

Dress #5: Tribal Print Dress from H&M

Tribal prints are a big deal at the moment. They add simple complexity to any made up outfit, so pair your tribal dress with gorgeous, white, leather wedges and a straw hat for an effortlessly cool, laid-back style.

Dress #8: Black & Pink Color block from Modcloth

I had to throw in a maxi dress. A spring wardrobe is just not complete without one. Pair any duo-tone maxi dress with floral pumps or wedges for a boho-chic, girly look. Add a pair of silver, drop earrings for a flirty touch. A walk through the park, anyone?

Dress #9: Short-Sleeve Crochet Dress from Delias

I absolutely love this dress because it is perfect for any setting! The spring element is added with its floral print, but the dress is kept classy with a white top. These dresses are so cute and comfortable that they are perfect to rock even at school- no hassle necessary. Pair your charming dress with any bold, 'look at me' earrings and white or beige cork wedges. Ready to turn heads in the hallways?

Dress #10: High-Low Dress from Urban Outfitters

A high low dress is girly and flirtatious and gives you the perfect opportunity to show off those sexy, toned legs of yours! Who wouldn't want that? Pair your high-low dress with a bright colored heel or pump and gem-studded earrings.

Billboard Awards 2013 Style Report 'Best Dressed': Taylor Swift

The annual Billboard Awards are a major event for music and its rising stars. The prestigious list of lucky nominees are artists who are making major waves in the music world with chart-stopping hits that have been rocking the world for the past year.

The awards serve as a great opportunity for music's stars to debut their show-stopping outfits and this year, fashionable ensembles were definitely of no shortage.

However, one star who racked up her fair share of awards and dazzled and glimmered all over the blue carpet and through the night was unquestionably 22-year-old country/pop singer, Taylor Swift.

Ms Swift dazzled in a breathtaking, studded gem blue gown by Zuhair Murad from his 2013 pre-fall collection.

For Makeup, Taylor decided to keep it girly and glam. For eye-makeup, she rocked a sultry dark smokey eye and shimmery blue eyeliner for her bottom and inner eyes. For a flirty touch, she paired her heavy eyes with a contrasting, matte, pink lipstick with peach under tones.

Let me know what you thought of Taylor's bedazzled look and who else you thought also rocked the Billboard Awards with style!
