MFQ (Morning Fashion Quote): Pierre Cardin

Need a style pick-me-up?—especially when an all out shopping spree isn’t on the menu. Write down this quote, tape it to your closet door and it’ll pretty much guarantee a good day.

Shoe Chronicles: Oxford Shoes!

This weekend I bought a lovely pair of oxford shoes at MaryPaz in Paris.

I had been admiring and eying these shoes for about a solid month when I decided to finally go into the store and buy them on Saturday.

The big sale season in France officially ended today so on Saturday I headed in to get the final grab at the bargain deal.

I never thought it was possible to be this in love with a pair of shoes, but I am hear to dispel that myth.

Check them out below!

These shoes are a gorgeous blue-grey color and are the modified version of the regular, flat oxford shoes, with it's rigid, foam-induced platform.

Pair your shoes like these ones with black, jeggings or skinny jeans.

Do you own a pair of shoes like these? Let me know and tell me what you think about my super-awesome shoes!

Birthday Fashion & Fun! ♥

On February 7th I celebrated my Sweet 16! As this is a stepping stone in any young fashionista's life, I am going to share with you all a little bit about my birthday weekend and outfit. On the 9th Of February, I was lucky enough to have a birthday VIP package that was organized by Teens Paris in which I got the chance to have a VIP table, drinks, a cake and gifts at Les Planches Club in Paris.

I received a YMCMB necklace, offered as a gift from Teens Paris.

If you are in or live in and around the Paris area, head over to www.teensparis.com for more information on their unforgettable soirées!
Check out what I wore to the event below for some fashion inspiration for your next birthday too!

For my ensemble, I wore a turquoise club dress that is strapped at the waist, which shows of one's shape in a flattering manner, with an exciting zipper which runs along the side of the dress for a unique appeal. I paired this dress with black, sheer tights, a brown, suede, heeled booties from RT and silver, geometric-designed earrings from Forever 21.

This stylish and sophisticated pairing of the outfit is perfect for any classy night out on the town as it exudes a mature vibe while still keeping it girly and fun!

I was walking through Haussman Saint Lazare train station in Paris and stopped at the Starbucks on the first floor before rushing to go catch my train. I told the cashier that it was my birthday and he ever so kindly offered to make my coffee on the house, and look! he also wrote a little birthday message too! What a great start to my day!

Check out some special little gifts I also received!

Fame By Lady Gaga!
I have been absolutely obsessed with this scent ever since I first took a whiff of it in the Sephora of the Champs Elysées. I usually don't take much interest in celebrity-endorsed perfumes, however this one was just way too magical to pass up. The scent is grown-up, girly and whimsical. The perfume, although a black liquid, is transparent on your clothes!
I was so glad to have received this as a gift. You too should also go out and get this eccentric perfume.

Zebra-print Scarf!
I've been in dire need of a scarf like this to wear with some of my school outfits as this scarf matches perfectly with black, white and pastel colors. Not only is it stylish but its super lightweight and comfortable too.

SAMSUNG HD CAMERA!
As most of you can imagine, a new camera is just about the best gift any blogger can receive. This picture takes HD images and shoots videos in 720p HD. All of the new pictures that you have and will continue to see on this blog will be taken with my new and improved camera. This means more pictures and videos, yay! Stay tuned for that as I am very excited about it.

My sweet 16 was without a doubt an inspiring, unforgettable one. Thank you all for supporting me and my blog, I appreciate it.

Fashionably Rockin' Item Of The Week: Stripe Long Sleeve Crop

Every week, I will post that week's Clothing Item Of The Week. This will be a post describing/reviewing a certain item that I find rather interesting from a certain fashion outlet which I will share with you all describing it and some rockin' ways that you can sport this item!

This week's item to die for is a striped long sleeve crop top from Top Shop.

I got really excited when I thought of what to pair this top with because crop tops are usually a bit challenging to pull of correctly. Check out my edgy ensemble below!

For a top like this one, you want to keep it black and white (literally) with your outfit pieces. This top makes for a great edgy, biker chick look so pair it with a black, studded leather jacket and studded ankle boots to match. For jeans, keep it retro with a pair of white skinny jeans. For accessories, you will want to pair this outfit with a gold-buckled, brown belt and any pair of geometric, gold earrings. This look is ultra edgy but also ultra glam and is the perfect choice of clothing for a rough and tough evening out.

Stay tuned next time for that week's Fashionably Rockin Item Of The Week!

Grammy Fashion Spotlight: Rihanna

The 55th annual GRAMMY Awards which took place on the 10th of February was a big night for all of the who's-who of music and was definitely a night filled with fashion splendor!
From stars like Alicia Keys to J.lo who both looked absolutely stunning in very elegant black dresses. But the star of the night who took ultra-elegance to the top was without a doubt Rihanna. Everyone was dazzled by her show-stopping ensemble. Her outfit of choice was an elegant scarlet Alaia dress which gracefully showcased the more mature and feminine Rihanna that we all admire and love.
Check her outfit and makeup look out below!

Here, Rihanna is rocking a gorgeous scarlet, cross-strapped bodice dress that is cinched at the waist and flows at the bottom. Why this is such a great fashion choice is because the dress does her body major justice as it accentuates her waist by being cinched in the middle and makes her figure seem more long and lean with the dress' flowy appeal.

For make-up, Rihanna kept it super sultry, to match the tone of her dress, rocking a classic bold, red lip with a nice matte finish and bold, long, lush lashes.
Inspire yourself from this glamorous look for the next time you head out for an elegant evening or party or gala.

What do you think of Rihanna's show-stopping ensemble?

I wanted to share with you all some great, stylish outfit ideas on what to wear when attending to a concert along with some tips and tricks!

When we think about concert-going, generally, most of us opt for a simple graphic tee, blue jeans and sneakers. However, I am here to show you how to look fabulous whilst supporting your favorite singer or band.

Read on below!

Outfit Ideas

Oufit #1

If your style is more edgy and rocky-chic, this outfit idea is just for you. You want to pair any USA or national themed graphic tee that you may have, a pair of light-wash blue high-waist or regular jeans, a black fedora hat and there you have it! For accessories, go for gold or silver droopy earrings and big, bold silver and gold bracelets to match. Pair this look with black, wedged booties. This look is great for concert-going as it is not only sports an edgy and cool vibe, you will be making a fashion statement whilst being comfortable all at once!

For makeup & nails: Opt for a bold, lipstick stained lip and earth-toned eyeshadow for a grungy appeal. For nails, opt for a bright and vivid colored nail polish that will stick out from your ensemble.

Outfit #2:

If your style is more relaxed and earthy, but yet trendy, this outfit idea is just for you. You want to pair a neon-colored T-shirt along with a bold-printed, high-low maxi-skirt and floral, ballet flats.  For accessories, look for long, silver chained earrings and multiple gold or silver bracelets. This look is great for any nonchalant concert-going that you plan to do as you will be swanky and elegant enough to stand out amongst the crowd.

For makeup & nails: Opt for a bold, lipstick stained lip and a nude eyeshadow will create a great contrast. For nails, opt for a bright and vivid colored nail polish that will stick out from your ensemble.

Pssst!: This look is great for attending a concert during the warmer seasons.

Outfit Idea #3: (This is what I wore!)

If your style is very retro and classy, this look is just right for you. You will want to pair a blue cut-off sleeved, sheer blouse, a pair of classic white skinny jeans and gold and silver hoop earrings and bracelets to match. For shoes, pair this outfit with (my all-time fav) black, suede wedged booties. Pssst!: Look for a studded pair for a little edgy glam!

For makeup & nails: Opt for a bold, lipsticked stained lip and a shimmery-colored eyeshadow for an all out glam look: For nails, match your earrings and bracelets with a silver crackle nail polish.

Hope you found some outfit inspiration for your next concert event.
